About Us

Chic Interior Design was founded on the belief that everyone deserves a home that feels like a true sanctuary. We are a full-service interior design firm based in Atlanta, serving clients who value comfort and quiet elegance. Our team approaches each project without preconceived notions, preferring to listen first and design second. We respect the architecture of your home while gently pushing the boundaries of its potential. For us, success is when a client walks in and immediately feels at ease.

A studio built on patience and trust

We are selective about the projects we take on, choosing to work closely with a limited number of clients each year. This allows us to dedicate the time and attention required for thoughtful results. We value long-term relationships over quick turnarounds. Whether we are sourcing vintage finds or specifying new millwork, our care for the craft remains the same. We are simply here to make your home feel more like you.

Chic Interior Design began quietly in a small Atlanta studio apartment. Founder Julie Robbins started by helping friends arrange furniture and select paint colors. Word of mouth spread, and what began as a passion project soon became a growing firm. Julie realized there was a need for a service that was both professional and deeply personal. She built the company around the idea that design should be accessible without being impersonal.

We do not design for portfolios or awards; we design for the people who live in the spaces. Our philosophy centers on the idea that interiors should be lived-in and layered, not stiff or untouchable. We embrace imperfection and the beauty of natural materials that age gracefully. A home should tell a story, and we help you write the next chapter. We see ourselves as stewards of your environment, not just decorators.

We tend to the spaces between things. The distance between a sofa and a wall. The pause before you turn a corner. The way afternoon light travels across a plaster wall, slow and unhurried. These are not details we correct—they are qualities we preserve. Our focus is never on filling a room, but on completing it. We listen for what is already there: the architecture, the silence, the rhythm of those who live within. Then, gently, we respond.
